She keenly understands that each story is unique, and has demonstrated a knack for asking the right questions that help individuals open up, revealing the core of their narratives. Her empathy, perceptiveness, and genuine curiosity shine through, making each interview a real conversation rather than a simple Q&A session.

“A couple of years back I was faced by a strange predicament. The students of my visual art class (Grade 11 and 12) were unable to procure an art history book that matched their art curriculum in an English medium school. They were compelled to refer to a Gujarati version of the book. I needed to translate it, and render the information to them in English. It was then, as on many other occasions that Prerna jumped to my rescue. She brought forth her bilingual prowess and held my hand through the translation of most of the difficult parts of Art history. It was quite a daunting task; being an academic requirement, one had to verify and authenticate historical facts and make the text lucid enough for young children to understand it. Moreover, one had to be in tandem with the Gujarati version of it.

While I struggled, Prerna put in her best and yet made it seem effortless. She worked on capturing both – the essence of each term and the text as a whole. Not only was she welcome to feedback she seemed happy to incorporate alternatives or suggestions – most often the constructive ones and sometimes she even smiled through the criticism. The collaboration and outcome was a peaceful and happy one. Throughout the project, Prerna with all her years of experience in the field and her literary adroitness, remained humble enough to allow me to feel as though I was doing what she had actually already taken care of. If you are looking for another you, who can read your mind and put it to word, you are in the ‘write’ place! Thank you Prerna.”

“Prerna Shah is a talented storyteller and writer. The attention to detail she has when it comes to content writing is what made me want to work with her. Prerna helped me write the About Me section for my Fashion & Lifestyle blog – Colour me in style, and also a shorter bio for my media kit.

Prerna arranged an initial consultation where we had a call to understand my USP and how I want the About Me section to sound. It went brilliantly as it made me think about a few things – particularly about how I want my blog to progress, and how to showcase my unique strengths. And when Prerna presented me with the first draft it was almost true to my personality and my writing style. Prerna took all my suggestions into consideration and gave me a brilliant end product. Something that captures the essence of my blog and my content. I would totally recommend Prerna for all your content writing, proofreading and editing needs!

“Gosh Prerna, you are an amazing writer. You comprehended the whole concept perfectly. I have had experiences with people not listening to me when they want to write something and it comes out really wrong. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”

“The Good story Project is an excellent platform when it comes to editing, rewriting, fact checking, proofreading and revision of content. Its dynamic team comprising of Prerna Shah and her colleague helped me with my book ‘Pandit Bhimsen Joshi: Celebrating the Centenary’, published by the Publications Division of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, in a number of ways. By giving attention to every detail and revising the content, they have made the book more presentable. Being extremely hardworking, the team worked efficiently and met the deadlines. A big thank you to The Good Story Project team for their valuable contribution to this book.”

My heartiest congratulations to you! The memoir has come out really well. Initially, when I started narrating my story and when you shared the first few drafts, I was a bit apprehensive about whether my stories from the bygone era would appeal to my children and especially to my grandchildren who belong to a completely different generation. But I am pleasantly surprised that all of them have not just read the memoir, but have absolutely loved the stories. The credit goes to you. The manner in which you have written the story, your choice of words, the narration, the flow, the language, everything is just perfect! The way in which you have weaved the stories and written the entire memoir is very impressive. Again, a big thank you, and congratulations!

“The Good Story Project is one of the rare organizations that truly represents passion with purpose. As part of Ahmedabad Fights Corona, a social initiative, the TGSP team consisting of Prerna Shah and her colleague, articulated our work in captivating words and captured the attention of the audience with a compelling story pitch. The team also documented six months of work in a lucid manner focusing on the impact of the initiative. The three things which stand out while working with them are — value for money, commitment, and meeting the deadlines. Wish Prerna Shah and her colleague all the best!”
